After the water temperature reaches 158F-176F remove the pan from the burner and let the water stop boiling for several seconds.\r\n 2 Then drop the dental guard into the hot water for 15-20 seconds and let it soften, then remove it with a wooden or metal spoon and allow it to cool with a wet paper towel about 2-3 seconds until you can touch the dental guard with your finger.\r\n 3 After a few seconds you will be able to touch the dental guard with your fingers. Slightly spread the walls of the dental guard apart so that there is enough room for your teeth to fit inside.\r\n 4 Quickly dry the dental guard on the towel and get it into your mouth and adjust it against your upper teeth. It won\'t be uncomfortably hot.\r\n 5 Carefully align and fit over your teeth using your thumbs.\r\n 6 With your lips pressed together, suck out all the air and water to achieve a snug fit around your teeth . Use your tongue to apply pressure to the inside walls while simultaneously using your fingers to press directly against the outside walls, and tighten the dental guard around your teeth for about 15 or 20 seconds.\r\n 7 Place the dental guard in the ice water for 20 seconds to let it harden and form correctly.\r\n 8 Remove the dental guard and try the fit. It should fit snugly against your top teeth without having to hold it with your tongue, and it should fit naturally into your bottom teeth.\r\n9 Wearing your Dental Guard.
