Compression Bags for travel

I travel a lot and not always having access to a vacuum or a vacuum pump I purchased these compression bags.They came with 4 large (28”x20”) and 4 medium bags 24”x16”) and 8 clips. I like to take less luggage not only because I travel alone quite often but because airlines charge for extra baggage. The bags are nice but I feel they do not compress as they present them on the box. I literally had to lay on the bags to get the air out and they still did not flatten as much as a vacuum or pump do. The bag I used was a medium and I put three t-shirts and one pair of jeans, as you can see by the pictures, it did not flatten as much as I would have liked. Was that too many items, I really can’t say. I will find out when I pack for my next trip. End result they work, but they were just okay for me.
