My tablet case is not easy to put on or take off being a rugged case.

I just received it; the lighting connector is short and the casing wide... basically you either have to remove the case around your phone/ tablet. A small connection cable could have resolved this issue. The primary reason I was wanting this combination thumb drive is to transfer information from my tablet that I had accumulated during the day, to my computer when I got home at night without long downloads.
