I'm very impressed with the quality and price of this drain. I'd spent quite some time looking for a push button pop up sink drain made for sinks that have an overflow hole. For my first install, I only used the included plastic and rubber washers to secure all of the connections, though I did choose to use plumber's putty between the sink hole and underside of the drain flange. Otherwise, I did not need any addition putty under the sink hole, or teflon tape on any of the screw connections. This drain had was long enough so I didn't have to add extension.  The quality of this is very high, and is worth every penny.
