Heavy duty! We wrangle a lot of wild cats in our neighborhood, Ferals, strays, abandoned, kittens and cats that don't do well around people and just take a while to warm up to them. So these gloves have saved us from so much pain! I'm so glad I got them and wouldn't hesitate to choose them again I only wish I would've gotten them sooner. And my husband and one particular mean spirited feline, could not penetrate. They are made with a thick heavy suede.
