UPDATED.... Waiting to give a second chance

I was so excited to receive this adapter. However; for some reason it does not work. I have tried to hook this up several different ways. I have requested a return and replacment. I will review again once that is received. So with that being said I, please do not take this review into consideration. Thank you!

I received a replacement. The difference..... the replacement had a green instruction label attached. What was on this label...... instructions to get it connected to the Nintendo Switch. I followed the directions and it worked! You must attach a power supply for it to work. I used my extra pro-controller power cord. My controllers did not want to work while they were attached to the Switch. However; that was not an issue for me. I just used them detached. If you want to carry your Switch to use elsewhere, without having to carry the console, this is the solution.
