Got this for my 5 year old and his dad to have something to do together and it was perfect! It is not too advanced that he wasn't able to have a few turns at controlling it and also not too big either. The remote control for this was rather small so it was perfect for his little hands. The one downside is that ours did not arrive with any instructions so we weren't exactly sure how everything goes together, but once we figured it out it was pretty easy!
