I had a lot better luck with the darker colors than the silvery one. The silver one just didn’t want to stick to my hair, it wasn’t that the color was too light. The purple color came off in just one swipe and I didn’t really have to press very hard. After I had a section done, I rubbed it through my hands, as stated in the instructions, to make sure it covered my hair and to work off any loose flakes. It smoothed my hair out so it didn’t look matted any longer. This was the first time I’ve ever tried this with my hair, so I wasn’t sure what I was doing, but this couldn’t have been easier. I felt the color looked as natural as if I had actually had it dyed. It came completely out in one shampoo with no extra effort. Lots of fun.
