Constant use of hot air dryers can damage your hair. So as an alternative, this steam curler, is a better alternative. I got this one for my daughter. It works perfect on thin hair. However,  I can not attest on its performance on thick and extra long hair. You can control the amount of heat, for now long and the type of curl. It comes with an instruction booklet, a plastic bottle and cleaning brush. Great product to spoil my princess!
