If you haven't discovered the convenience of kitchen shears, it is not too late. I find that shears make kitchen work much easier. I even cut up my kids food with it and that saves me tons of time. This is an especially good pair! It has all kinds of extra cutting areas that can be used for many things like opening a jar or can. You can even take the two sides apart and use each side as a knife, either straight or serrated. This is the best set I have tried. It easily cuts up a whole raw chicken and other meats. I use mine daily and hope to never be without them. I recommend them for quality, price and ease of use.
