Great for balance and sure footing

I walk with a cane and these poles are perfect for other than normal short walks when a cane is convenient. 

Adjustable length poles and 2 tips with a snow cup and ice cup and when remove the tip its hardened spike tip penetrates ice to prevent slipping. The aluminum construction seems durable for intended use. 

I would recommend these for anyone but especialy elderly or disabled as a great alternative to a cane. Walking in ice or snow, you put tip back on when entering buildings for inside use.
