Most of my family plays one instrument or another, with several guitar players among us. I bought this capo and tried it out on several of our guitars. It worked perfectly on most of them, although the jaws didn't open quite far enough for one of them with a thicker neck. For those that fit, it worked great though. It is lightweight and has a silicone padding to protect the neck of your guitar. It is easy to use and holds the strings perfectly in place, and sounds great as long as you have it placed correctly on the guitar.
