 I bought this because it’s summer time and my kids love riding their bikes and I won’t let them ride at night without me but I didn’t like any of of riding without some kind of light to notify others were there. The light is rechargeable via micro usb. The battery has a pretty long life as I haven’t had to recharge yet. This is really good quality and super light wait so you barely notice it but the light is really bright and easily noticeable to passerby’s! I can see my kids WAY off in the distance!  This is a necessity for night time riding walking! This is going to be great when we go to the beach for riding AND when we go walking on the beach at night!!
