For consumer electronics applications, the Lithium Polymer (Li-Po) batteries are a newer technology than the NiCad or NiMh batteries they replace. They are much lighter in weight and are capable of providing more power than the nickel-based rechargable batteries. Special care must be taken with LiPo batteries, including proper charging and storage, as it is possible that the battery may lead to fire if punctured.
This battery set includes the proper charger to assure safe charging. The charger can replenish up to 3 batteries at a time, using a USB power supply of 1-2 amps capacity. A set of 3 batteries will recharge in less than 3 hours.
9V LiPo batteries can be used in handheld radio equipment, smoke detectors, remote controls, toys, clocks, cameras, etc.
