My ferret was destroying everything- his hammock, bed, everything I gave him. I decided to try a cat scratch pad and see if that would help and instead of destroying his stuff he would just use this. He LOVES it. Not only is it great for him to use for scratching, he has been using it to climb on, climb through and practice crobatics off off haha. Highly recommend- not just for cats, but for ferrets too!
