I can’t begin to tell you the excitement of both of my boys when our no-tie shoelaces arrived. I have used these types of no-tie laces in the past and the kids loved them, but have lost the pieces, so needed a new set. They requested that I get them in solid black this time, which I did. You can get them in black, gray, brown, rainbow, and tons of other colors, as well as buy them in one set or multiple. There are also different sizes - small, medium, or large. We got large since my son has huge feet.
They arrived quickly and my oldest tore right in to them, whipping old laces out as fast as possible. My 13-year-old had no trouble putting them on his shoes - they are simple to use. They are not hard to put on, and the process was much faster than lacing with traditional shoelaces.

There are enough straps to lace up one pair of shoes. The pieces are all scaled in size, allowing you a tighter fit at the bottom near the toes and a wider top.  They are made of a strong, yet flexible silicone and are waterproof.

My son is able to do all of his regular activities without worrying about his shoes coming off or losing the tie strips. He has played baseball with them, skateboarded, walked the neighborhood, biked, and no slipping out of their shoes, no struggling to put them on, and the lace strips have stayed in place. Though my son can easily tie his shoes, he prefers the no bow look and can achieve that without having to tuck the laces in the side of his shoe where it irritates hisfeet. These have been a big win in our home!
