This is one handy bedside lamp. It has three setting from dim to bright with the tap of your fingure. It has two side pockets as you can se I have my remote in one and pens, dobbers and thermometor in the other. I love the adjustable neck for perfect light placement. It is very stable. It also has a port on the back for your device phone or tablet. This will help you wake with the device charged and ready to go There is a slight indention to hold your phone so you can prop it up while charging or just to have a place to secure it on your stand.. I have had others similar, they slide off the table at the slightest bumb. I am very happy with thie compace table lamp.
