Adorable, well made, but a bit small

I purchased these in the XL size, and I had a bit of a difficult time getting them on. My waist is 29, hips are 36. I do have large upper thighs, but I had problems before they even got to my thighs. These do have stretch, but it’s a very very firm stretch, so even sliding them up over my calves, I had to really work at it. They do hold you in place, so they are excellent for strenuous activity. Nothing is going to be moving. The designs are crisp and well detailed, not blurry. The waistline is excellent quality. Little zipper pouch in the back to hold smaller items.
