I hate using regular sponges so I was very happy when I found these silicone sponges. I don't have to worry about nasty, grimy sponges that breed bacteria. These sponges are not just for washing dishes. They are heat resistant so they can be used as pot holders or as trivets. Can be used as coasters or even for washing your fruits and veggies. They can be sterilized by boiling them or running them through the dishwasher.
