Amazingly, the lights on this collar are still as bright as the 1st day and the sturdy plastic side release buckle still closes nice and tight. I only use these collars when we are walking in the dark, so they are being put on and removed at least twice a day, every morning and night, so having a quality buckle is important to me. Also, the plug that is built into the collar is only tucked into the fabric by the battery, not sewn in. Everything still working as advertised!
