I've tried other dishes that claim to be strong enough to stay put but that's before my son tried them out. His first mission is getting that dish off of his tray & he is pretty strong. The suction on this plate held strong which really impressed me. I really like that the whole plate is made of silicone, makes for washing easy as well.
