This hat is warm and nicely made. It seems like it will keep your head warm on cold winter days, BUT it is too small. It is not a slouchy beanie at all. I put it on my three year old's head and it was barely slouchy on her. It will certainly not be slouchy on a grown man's head. I will likely give it to one of the children even though I purchased it for an adult.
