The charger charged the 4 batteries very fast. I can't speak to how long the charge will last since I haven't had this very long. I'm hoping the charge is close to comparable to regular alkaline batteries. I like rechargeables since they are cost efficient and better for the environment. I'm please with these. I gave 4 stars since I don't know how long these will last yet.
