This is made of super heavy aluminum alloy and a great etched treading into the step. So I'm not sure why it's so incredibly small..
I wear a Size 6 or a Size 5 in Boy's, not Men's...Child's Sized shoes and I can't use it. I also have chubby hands, yes..but extremely small..and my hand is larger than the step..
How is anyone to use this 2 1/2 inch by 5 1/2 inch step to balance themselves (keep in mind please that the hook takes up an inch and a half of your 5 1/2 inches, leaving you with 4) enough to load or unload luggage, skis, a canoe, etc. on or off of their roof rack???
A swing and a miss on the size because everything else was top notch.
I took the above measurements myself because I knew theirs were off...they claim 3.9 inches by 5.9 inches...I knew that just was way too wide and who measures in .9 inches..uh no one..just an fyi...
Sorry but in this case, size is EVERYTHING....
