Stronger than expected. The neckstrap is really only helpful to keep the fan handy. You still need to hold and aim the fan where you want the breeze to go. Rechargeable battery last long enough for typical events. Can add scents or cooled air as well but my main purpose for it is the fan which works better than I expected and has an adjustable toggle..
