When I got this I was searching around the house to find things to examine. Had lots of fun with my cousin. Could see how it would be useful for doing work that needs close-up view. I'm always looking for things to examine now, so far we looked at an Ant, a blueberry (very textured surface), a tortilla chip, a credit card, a laser printed piece of paper and a bunch of other things, it works great.
