I purchased this for my 6 month old niece. She always wants to sit up and look around and it is impossible to hold a baby all of the time and this seat has definitely been a great investment. It can be used as a standalone seat or it can be used in a high chair or on a regular chair so baby can sit up. When it is folded, it is very compact and can be stored nearly anywhere. It is ideal for little ones that like to sit up and look around and as a booster type seat for chairs so they can reach the table or whatever. This seat can be fastened to any chair to avoid tipping and has a seat belt to keep your little one from falling out of the seat accidentally. It is also very easy to clean up. The entire seat is coated with a plastic type material making it very easy to wipe off and clean up when it gets dirty. While this seat is perfect for keeping your hands free while baby sits up, it is not a babysitter! You should always use caution using this seat or any other and never ever leave your baby without supervision while using this seat. This seat is not meant for you to stick your baby in and go take a shower or whatever so ensure the baby always has adequate supervision while fastened into this seat or any other seat. Makes a great gift and is perfect for anyone with a little one that needs a booster to reach the table or wants to sit up and look around. I highly recommend this toddler chair to anyone!
