great to have for emergencies

We live in a very rural area where power outages are common. We try to keep flashlights handy all throughout the house in case we need them. When the lights go out, it is extremely dark so we needed a powerful light to illuminate a large area. I purchased this flashlight from Letion for this purpose. The best part is that this light uses the included rechargeable batteries instead of me buying those expensive disposable batteries that are always dead when I need them the most. The light comes with 2 18650 batteries and a charger. The flashlight is made of super tough aluminum so it can handle a drop from 10 feet and still function. It has a metal clip for hooking it on a belt or pocket and a wrist strap. It is water resistant so it is great for boating. It also has a SOS emergency mode for safety.

The flashlight has 5 lighting modes which are high, medium and low-level light settings, strobe and emergency modes. The head of the flashlight can be extended or retracted to change the size of the lighted area. My husband did notice that the tip area of the flashlight where the LED is got hot after he was using the light for a few minutes on the highest setting. The batteries were a little difficult to position correctly in the charger for me but the color changing lights were extremely helpful in letting me know when the batteries were completely charged. This is an awesome and durable flashlight to have especially for emergencies.
