We use lots of AA and AAA batteries in our house! The smoke detectors, remote controls for appliances and RC toys, karaoke microphones, etc. It does not come with batteries, but I ordered both types with the hopes of saving money in the long run. It is working fine so far, but my only concern is its durability, it does not seem made of a strong plastic material. However, it is fairly priced.
