Had high hopes but this one flopped

So my wife really wanted this and was excited when we received it. However, upon opening it several flaws and defects were evident. As you can see in the attached photos the metal hinges were missing paint and the exposed metal had already started oxidizing (rusting). In addition the hinges on one side were installed backwards! Or at least I hope it's seen as backwards since it didn't match the layout in the photos and it just makes no sense to have them the way it configured. I suppose it will still serve it's purpose however just not nearly efficiently as it could.
