I really love the dog brush but it seems to be too rough to use on my little dog due to the long bristles but it worked great to removing the hair from the brush by the ease of a button. This works great with both long and short haired dogs. The bristols seem to be too rough, maybe if they had more of a plastic coating on the ends it would help.
