I originally ordered these for my niece and nephew but once they arrived, decided my nephew who comes to stay with me 3 weekends out of the month and I would have so much more fun. He has for some reason suddenly become terrified to be outside alone. My thinking would be using these, he would know he always had a way to reach out & locate me were he to lose sight of me and I was right. He’s been to tickled to play with these and though they are toys, they work nearly as well as adult walkit-talkies. He keeps his on him and I have mine and he has instructions what to do if he were to lose where I went as we engage in playing outside. They have made him feel grown up and important as if he has his own mobile device with which to reach even if only me.
