Good concept, but falls a little thin

I have been looking for a camping mat for my son for a while.  We did not really think the self inflating type was the right choice, so we tried this one out.  The concept was good.  We liked how thing is compressed to store in the bag.  However, it was jsut too thin and lacked the comfort we were looking for.  It is made well and with quality materials.  If it was filled with memory foam that compressed it would be better.
