This is an excellent set. I am not an artist and neither is my stepdaughter but she wanted to get into drawing and painting. I always like to buy her things to help her try out her interests. This kit offered plenty for her to use. The colors are great and everything was in great order. I cant speak for how good or bad the paint is because as i said she isnt an experienced artist but it works fine enough for her to paint as she wants. Works very well on canvas.
