By far these are not for winter here in Washington State. I use them when I am driving so my hands keep warm in the car. I tried to use them while I was out side during the chores on the farm and found that they held in the cold more than keep it out. I would suggest maybe changing the title to just warm gloves or all season light gloves. These are not for the harsh winters at all. The fabric is well put together and the glove is streachy. A nice pair of gloves for light cold days or even for spring gardening.
