A remarkable piece of kit. Does everything it claims to do. The one slight issue I've had so far is that it didn't want to give me a Gbit ethernet connection when connected to my laptop's thunderbolt port, instead giving 100Mbps. This is more than enough for my 75Mbps broadband connection, but is somewhat limiting for file transfer over my home network. I swapped to the standard USB C port (USB 3.x protocol only) on the laptop which raise the ethernet connection to 1Gbit. However, my laptop doesn't support driving an external display through its standard USB C port so I can either have an external screen or a Gbit ethernet connection, not both at once.
This suits me fine, but others may wish to take note. It could just be a hardware/driver issue with my specific laptop, of course.
Otherwise this is a great bit of kit. Robust build, all other functions work fine. Can't drive VGA and HDMI at the same time, but that's noted in the Q&A already and I don't need this anyway. Happy with just one external screen when needed.
