The Dremel filament is fine in terms of its quality. The colors I've tried are nice. The gold does look vaguely metallic, the white is whiter than most other white filaments I've tried, and the red (while translucent) is a nice red color and not too orange. The silver is more of a gray but also nice. One thing that I like that I haven't seen on the other filaments I've bought is the indicator on the inside of the spool that lets you estimate how much filament remains on the spool. This review is about the black color though so I will stick with it.
The black PLA is my "go-to" when I need a quick prototype. The reason for this is because it seems to adhere better to the layers when building. Again, I have tried almost every color, but I always find myself going back to the black color when needing a perfect prototype.
