12 reusable bag set

I pack lunches and snacks for my family daily. I have been focused on being able to pack no-waste lunches so I was searching for something to eliminate plastic bags or wraps. I purchased this set of twelve reusable storage bags. The set comes with two large bags which measure ten inches wide and seven-and-three-quarter inches tall (usable space is nine-and-one-quarter inches wide and six-and-one-half inches tall), six sandwich sized bags which measure eight-and-one-half inches wide and seven-and-one-fourth inches tall (usable space is seven-and-one-half inches wide and six inches tall) and three snack sized bags which measure eight-and-one-half inches wide and four-and-one-half inches tall (usable space is seven-and-one-half inches wide and three-and-one-half inches tall).  The set comes with twelve bags, six sealing clips and a bag cleaning brush. Each of the sandwich sized bags have a colored strip on the top. I received two blue, two orange and two yellow bags which make it easy to color code the bags for different family members or contents. The large bags and the snack sized bags have clear strips on the top. The sealing clips come in handy for making sure that the bags are completely sealed so they remain waterproof. It also includes a handy reference sheet with instructions on how to use and clean the bags.

It is recommended to hand wash these so that the high heat from the dishwasher does not damage the seal on the bags. I always hand wash them with a dab of soap on a soft sponge or the cleaning brush and then rinse with warm water. I turn them upside down and let them drip dry on a baby bottle rack that I have or I have put them upside down over a cup or bottle to dry.  The bags are made of a food grade high quality PEVA so they will remain durable after repeated use. The bags are leakproof and lightweight but best of all, they are reusable which means less waste going from my home to the landfills.
