My little boy is mad about anything to do with dinosaurs so when I saw this light I just had to buy it. Th lamp itself comes with a small black base when the dinosaur light slides in to. Tj box also contains a remote control which is nice where you can change to 12 different lights and effects. The light itself takes 3 AA batteries or you can plug it in using the ISB cable that's supplied. My little boy love hisnlamp which sits at the side of the bed.
