I was previously using the G9 halogen version of these which were constantly blowing and were also harder on electricity than these LED ones that are a direct replacement. So it's a win win situation. Don't get any flicker with them and haven't had to change any of these out for blowing so am very happy with them and the softer emitted light they give.
