These are cute and all but don't do a whole lot of flashing and color-changing unless there is significant constant noise.
I had one of them plugged in for 10 minutes at most and it got really hot. I would be afraid to leave it plugged in unattended for more than a couple of minutes.
It's a cute novelty item to show off for a few minutes to friends but, nothing more really.
