For anyone who bakes bread-- you need this! You can put store bought bread in it, too. It stays fresh and does not mold for a very long time, but more importantly it holds the crust to be crispy or chewy (ie how it was when you bought it.) Plastic makes bread "sweat" which is bad for so many reasons. Do you notice that crispy French bread is never sold in a sealed plastic bag? It is because it would never remain crispy-- it is sold in open paper bags. This is the equivalent of that, but it also protects the cut bread.
