So I do like it for cleaning the grates when they're off the grill however standard cleaning can be a bit difficult as the twist that it's woven in doesn't get the top and deep into the sides of the grates very well. Granted this might just be the heavy duty cast iron grates that I have but the brush material doesn't move much so it's hard for it to form around the grates.
