Several years ago, I began experiencing a lot of muscle and bone pain. I also felt exhausted all the time and didn't have the energy hardly to get through the day. After being evaluated by my Dr., it was determined that I had a severe vitamin D deficiency and needed to have regular vitamin D supplements.
This bottle contains 5000 IU's of Vitamin D3. There are 90 soft gel capsules in the bottle, which would be a three month supply if taken once daily (recommended). I require a higher dosage, like the 5000 IU because of having a severe Vitamin D deficiency but this dose may not be right for everyone. It is always best to consult with your Doctor to see what dose is right for you.
I have tried a few other Zen Nutrition supplements in the past and have had good results so I expect nothing less with the Vitamin D2 supplements.
