This is so cool to own for anyone who is a Star Wars fan. The detail on little Darth is fantastic. The grinder itself is metal and the Darth Vader that encompasses it is made of hard plastic. It is pretty durable and does the job. It comes in a nice gift box as well. This little Darth Vader is so cool even if you never used it for it's intended purpose it makes a great little statue to put in a Star Wars Collection.
