I got a cone ice scraper last year at a discounted price. It works great! It's especially good when you have thick frost and ice on your windshields.
Now I was able to order, also at a big discount, a set of two for the other members of my household. While these cones are the same size as the one I bought for myself, the smaller end where you have the sharp nubs to break up the ice is bigger. AND they also come with a mini cone that stores inside. You can use it on smaller surfaces such as your rear view mirrors AND it does double duty as a funnel in an emergency.
These are the best price for the amount of product you get. The ONE unit I got last year with NO mini cone was the same price as this double set that even gives you extra pieces.
I keep mine in the house because I've found that if the truck ices up, I sometimes can't open the doors. So I wouldn't be able to access the scraper if I left it inside the vehicle. Use the small end to score the ice and then flip it over and use the big round cone, working in a circular motion, to scrape off the ice. Covers a lot of surface area at one time!
