Bought these for kids. Needs 4 AAs per tiny little radio. If you’re buying for kids, be advised the plastic is light and units aren’t very sturdy. Batteries die pretty much every time they’re used, since kids leave them on and forget. Maybe rechargeable batteries would offset this problem.
