Bought for a 12 year old boy. At first he just thought they were a nice pair of gloves then once he was told they were LED gloves he was ecstatic. They are very large so I would not recommend these for very small children. It's great that they already come with batteries and you just pull the tag to get them started. Great to dance with and keep kids entertained for awhile.
