This is the best little set. The bamboo is not too thick, but high quality and sturdy. The 2 jars (one clear, one black) are glass and hold quite a bit. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase! In the past I've ordered a set similar and after the 3rd shipment and it was broken yet again (not the same company) I was relieved and pleased that nothing was broken!
