I got this for my 10 year old niece who loves puzzles. She needed some help with punching out the pieces but was able to do most of it by herself. Definitely make use of the tool that comes with it to punch out little spaces on the pieces. The end result was beautiful. It is not something to play with or take out and put in repeatedly. We will be looking for another model puzzle to put together!
